At Pure Dental Centre we are committed to the prevention of dental disease and encourage all of our patients to take advantage of our hygiene service.
Regular visits to the hygienist provide
a full professional and thorough clean of your teeth
advice on preventing gum disease and maintaining oral health
promotion of fresh breath
We have three resident hygienists at Pure Dental Centre:
Karen works with us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Karen qualified from the University of Bristol Dental Hospital in 1997 with a diploma in Dental Hygiene, and moved to Barnstaple in 1998. She believes in providing caring and gentle hygiene treatment in a relaxed environment. She is very passionate about helping patients to keep their natural teeth for as long as possible.
Karen has two daughters, who share her love of horses and ride regularly. She is also a very keen baker and enjoys walking her Labradors “Luna” and “Bella” around the North Devon countryside.
